Welcome to Lund
The medieval city of Lund is situated in Scania, the southernmost region of Sweden. It is close to Malmö and Copenhagen (Denmark) and can easily and sustainably be reached by train from Copenhagen central station over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden.
How to get to Lund
Plane. The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (CPH, Kastrup), in Denmark. A few international airlines fly to Malmö Airport (MMX, Sturup), in Sweden.
Train. All trains to Lund go via Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and Malmö central station.
1) From Copenhagen Airport. There is a direct train from Copenhagen Airport to Lund in 40 minutes. Trains also depart regularly from Copenhagen C. The journey takes about 55 minutes.
2) From Malmö Airport. There is a bus connection (operated by Flygbussarna Airport Coaches) to Malmö C where trains leave regularly for Lund. The journey from Malmö C to Lund C takes 12 minutes.
Accommodation
The conference venue of “Kulturen i Lund” is centrally located close to Lund Cathedral. Many hotels of different quality and price level offer their services in the neighborhood.
