📢Registrations are now open for the FRH Conference "Religious Heritage in Transition: Challenges and Solutions" (23-24 September 2024 in Krakow Poland)!

This edition will explore existing initiatives and possible future solutions to address the challenges brought about by new digital technologies💻, the effects of climate change 🍃 and the way European citizens understand and relate to cultural and religious heritage in the 21st century👨‍👦‍👦🧕.

We will do so through four sub-themes: Resilient Heritage, Sustainable Solutions, Digital Futures and Quality of Life, featuring a diverse panel of 17 speakers from different disciplines but with the common goal of safeguarding Europe's religious heritage.

💻We are pleased to invite you to a new online f2f meeting to learn about ongoing efforts to safeguard Turkey's abandoned religious heritage sites.

🗣️The session will be led by Çağla Parlak, Vice-Chair of the Association for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (KMKD) who will provide an overview of the main challenges facing the conservation of these sites and KMKD's efforts to prevent their loss, especially after the serious damaged caused by the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake.

🗓️ The meeting will take place on 24 May 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 CEST

🎓In December 2023, FRH set up the "Young Profes

🎓In December 2023, FRH set up the "Young Professionals and Researchers Working Group", composed of 11 young talents from diverse disciplines connected to religious heritage to empower youth and ensure that their voice is represented in the sector.

📝🗣️Over the last few months, the Working Group has been working on the preparation of a position paper that will outline the needs of young professionals and researchers in religious heritage and offer recommendations for bridging the generation gap between established professionals and new entrants wishing to pursue a career in this field.

🗨️They will present an update on their progress at our upcoming FRH Conference in Krakow, "Religious Heritage in Transition: Challenges and Solutions" (22-24 September).
