🎓In December 2023, FRH set up the "Young Professionals and Researchers Working Group", composed of 11 young talents from diverse disciplines connected to religious heritage to empower youth and ensure that their voice is represented in the sector.

📝🗣️Over the last few months, the Working Group has been working on the preparation of a position paper that will outline the needs of young professionals and researchers in religious heritage and offer recommendations for bridging the generation gap between established professionals and new entrants wishing to pursue a career in this field.

🗨️They will present an update on their progress at our upcoming FRH Conference in Krakow, "Religious Heritage in Transition: Challenges and Solutions" (22-24 September).

#FRHFeatureArticle | Did you know that in England, there are 9️⃣ 7️⃣ former cinemas currently used as places of worship by Christians, Muslims, Hindus and other religious denominations📽?

We often speak about the adaptive reuse of religious buildings, but we rarely hear about the inverse process, the reuse of secular buildings to be transformed into places of worship. This interesting phenomenon has been reflected in the Moving Pictures project, led by Dr Kate Jordan and Dr Julie Marsh from the University of Westminster (United Kingdom).
