2022 Winner and finalists

The winner and finalists of the FRH Photo & video competition were unveiled at the Annual General Meeting of FRH on 20 October 2022. The competition closed with 260 inspiring photos from over 30 countries.

André Boto (Portugal) was selected as the overall winner for his outstanding photograph of the sunset over Silves’ historic centre, in the sunny southern region of Algarve, in which we can see the Cathedral and part of Igreja da Misericordia de Silves’ church with astounding majesty.

The eight finalists chosen by the jury are: Balog Zoltan (Romania), Mary Crnkovic Pilas (Croatia) and Szymon Wójcik (Poland) in the category of Artefacts; Abdul Momin (Bangladesh), Anne Ewart (UK) and Baruch Gian (Israel) in the category of People and Events; and Jahid Alam Apu (Bangladesh) and Josef Hinterleitner (Austria) in the category of Religious Buildings.
