Following the Torch of Heritage and Culture initiative, the FRH Torch Book was published to capture its legacy. This book is a collection of personal memories and stories based on the activities and outcomes of the initiative. The book includes some remarkable letters and reflections notable figures from across Europe, including:
- the EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport 2014-19, Tibor Navracsics
- the Ministers of Culture from several EU member states
- government representatives
- foundations
- non-profit organisations
- academics
- professionals
- and citizens committed to the safeguarding of religious heritage
Furthermore, the book gives insight into the journey of the FRH Torch. The 11 destinations of the torch are highlighted individually, with explanations of the places that were visited by the torch, as well as featured accounts of notable individuals from there.
Lastly, we’ve included samples of several letters that were delivered to us as part of the initiative so as to highlight the impact that this project had on the European community.
