SLOVAKIA – Exhibition: Medieval wall paintings in Svinica

This travelling exhibition of medieval wall paintings first opened in January 2000 in the EU headquarters in Strasbourg opened in the Romanesque – Gothic church in Svinica, Slovakia. An exhibition was organised within the European Heritage Days and as a part of the celebration of the 725^th first written record of the village. It was organised by Museum Institute Bratislava and the National Monument Board of Hungary and already presented in Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Munich and Kosice.
