Results of the FRH survey on the impact of Covid-19 on Religious Heritage organisations

In order to understand the impact of Covid19 on religious heritage organisations, FRH launched a survey from 31st March to 18th May 2020. More than 70 organisations from 21 countries shared their perspectives and insight.

The key findings were that most organisations have strongly felt the impact, firstly on their funding and secondly on their income sources. Digitalisation has played a key role in mitigating the impact and adapting to the new work environment.

FRH has started working to support its members and the sector and provide effective training to incorporate digital tools to their skillset, but a cohesive Europe-wide response is necessary in order to mitigate the affect of covid19 on the cultural heritage sector, and help it adapt to the new normal.
