Canada: Conference “Le patrimoine des communautés religieuses” 2-3 June 2016

FRH Council Member Marc de Beyer will speak at a conference organized by “La Chaire Fernand-Dumont”. The event will take place at the Augustinian Monastery in Québec, Canada, on 3 June.

The topic of his speech will be “Sauvegarding our endengered religious heritage: a joint effort”.  Marc de Beyer is head of the Department for Cultural Heritage at Museum Catherijneconvent, Netherlands.

La Chaire Fernand-Dumont is part of INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique). INRS ranks first in Canada in terms of research intensity. It brings together professors, researchers, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows in its four research centres in Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, and Varennes.
