FRH joined the Climate Heritage Network on December 2019.
The main goal of the climate heritage network is to put arts, culture and heritage in the centre as important factors to help tackle climate change. The network is giving support to organisations that have already made concrete climate actions.
70 organisations are part of the network that was launched in October 2019. Last December in COP 25 in Madrid, they presented an 8-point document with tools and recommendations for climate actions. The document has a road map, that each organisation participating in the network, should follow.
The network receives support from the regional institutions, indigenous people, ministries, NGOs, universities, businesses and organisations committed to addressing the climate crisis and helping to achieve the ambitions of the Paris Agreement.
FRH is also a proud member of the Heritage Alliance, the European Commission Expert Group in Cultural Heritage, and the Reflection Group ‘EU and Cultural Heritage’.
