UK – Church spire boosts broadband

Residents in three East Cambridgeshire villages can look forward to receiving high speed broadband connections thanks to the installation of new radio equipment.

Yesterday saw the official switch-on of the new equipment at St Cyriac and St Julitta Church in Swaffham Prior by members of the Reach and Swaffham Prior (RaSP) community broadband group.

Working in partnership with The Churches Conservation Trust, the voluntary group have utilised the tower of St Cyriac and St Julitta, one of the highest points in the village, by installing the new higher speed equipment on to, enabling RaSP members in Swaffham Prior, Reach and Upware better internet connections.
