
The Center for the Study of the Christian East of the University of Salzburg will host a photographic exhibition and a series of presentations about the Arakelots Monastery and Settlement, recently chosen as one of the 7 Most Endangered heritage sites in Europe by the annual civic society campaign of Europa Nostra and the European Investment Bank Institute.
The site was nominated by FRH member and Armenian expert Jasmine Dum-Tragut and the Center for the Study of the Christian East, was supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Acharkut Municipality, Blue Shield Armenia, and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
When and where?
The presentations will take place on 7 May from 14:00 to 15:30 CET at the Catholic Theological Faculty. The event will be held in German. After the presentations, the photo exhibition will be inaugurated.
