The travelling exhibition of medieval wallpaintings first opened in January 2000 in the EU headquarters in Strasbourg opened in the Romanesque – Gothic church in Svinica, Slovakia. An exhibition was organised within the European Heritage Days and as a part of the celebration of the 725th of the first written mention of the village. It was organised by Museum Institute Bratislava and the National Monument Board of Hungary and already presented in Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Munich and Kosice.
