Welcome to the May issue of the newsletter!

The FRH Biennial Conference "Europe's Living Religious Heritage" will have the first of 4 events on Friday 28 May from 15:00-17:00h CET. The first event will focus on "Continuity in Function or Use". Don't forget to Register!

We are delighted to have been accepted as a partner of the New European Bauhaus, the European Commission's initiative which aims to bring the EU Green Deal to Europe's communities by calling for a collective effort to imagine and build a more sustainable and inclusive future.

This month's featured article comes to us from FRH member, Luigi Bartolomei, who promotes a new international conference that will examine the future of the cultural heritage of religious communities in Europe.

In honour of our 10th year anniversary, we are launching a series of interviews with the people that helped make FRH what it is today. We begin with our president, Pilar Bahamonde, who discusses how she became involved with FRH, and how she sees its future.

In honour of Europe Day on 9th May, FRH President Pilar Bahamonde delivered a speech as part of Europa Nostra's Citizen Debates on the Future of Heritage in Europe.

Our country of the month is Croatia, a country which has a large number of UNESCO protected heritage sites. Our featured Religiana list takes a look at the UNESCO listed religious heritage sites.

As always, we are happy to feature members in our newsletter, so feel free to submit articles, event notifications, or anything else you would like to share with the network.
