Welcome to the November issue of the newsletter!
This month, we are launching a new initiative in order to take a more in-depth look into Europe's religious heritage by featuring a different country each month in "Country of the Month". This month we are featuring Estonia, with our featured article and Religiana list, the Churches of Saaremaa.
We are very happy to announce the election of our new president, Pilar Bahamonde as well as three new council members, Justin Kroesen, Henrik Lindblad, and Andrea Longhi, each of whom was elected at our Annual General Meeting.
On October 22nd, FRH launched 3 web activities: our webinar "The Challenges and Opportunities of COVID-19 on Cultural Heritage", the Annual General Meeting for FRH members, and the launch of our Preconference working groups.
At both our webinar and our Annual General Meeting, we unveiled our new introduction video, which explains a bit about FRH's mission, who we are, and invites viewers to join our network.
Finally, the ceiling of a church owned by one of our members, the Fortified Churches Foundation has collapsed. In response to this, they have written an article explaining how this tragedy should be seen as a call to action.
As always, we are happy to feature members in our newsletter, so feel free to submit articles, event notifications, or anything else you would like to share with the network.

However, the country has a rich and varied religious heritage. FRH Member, Anneli Randla gives us a fascinating overview of the state of religious heritage in Estonia as well as insight into some of the efforts to help safeguard it in this month's feature article.
