UK Royal arms in churches project

In the Churches Conservations Trust’s estate of over 340 churches, nearly 100 of them have Royal Arms, which spans the entire breadth of styles and ages from the 12th to the 20th centuries.

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee inspired them to shout about the beautifully crafted pieces of art that nonchalantly hang in their churches, which are rich in history and clearly outline the UK’s political and royal history.

Therefore they started to develop the second project in their interpretation series that would reveal and introduce this subject and raise awareness to their importance.
