The panel of judges sifted through more than 200 applications from all over the country. Looking for passion, perseverance and imagination as well as the scale of the challenge and how well it had been tackled, they rewarded St Mary’s Church, West Somerton, Norfolk, for Best Rescue or Repair of a Place of Worship.
