The Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec is the oldest existing monastery in Poland. This year’s exhibition is inspired by one of the largest and most famous Benedictine abbeys in medieval Europe. The abbey of Cluny in Burgundy has played a significant role not only in the history of monastic life, but also in shaping the culture of Europe. The exhibition is accompanied by various events aiming to present the wealth and the importance of the Benedictine heritage.
