HUNGARY – Project and exhibition publication “Common Space – Common Heritage”

Publication of the exhibition on renewed architectural heritage in Carpathian Basin (the restorations took place with the support of the Hungarian Government).

This publication maps the renovations of the monuments based in the areas previously forming the Hungarian Kingdom, many of which were religious buildings. Renovations were supported by the Hungarian Government and took place in between 1999 and 2010.

The book includes c. 60 monuments, along with photographs, drawings and English texts on research, restorations and documentation executed by professional architects, archeologists and art historians. The publication is based on the exhibition previously shown in several European countries and USA and in 2013 will be also presented in Norway, Canada, Sweden and Netherlands.
