The Abt-Herwegen-Institut annual conference was held on 26 of September in Germany at the Abbey of Maria Laach.
The topic was how to maintain religious buildings into the future.
The conference saw the participation of the Prior of the Abbey.
The first speaker, Dr. Kim de Wildt, Bonn University, was introduced by Prof. Dr. Martin Klöckener, Freiburg.
In the afternoon Dr. Thomas Sternberg MdL from Munster addressed the topic, followed by Dr. Holger Dörnemann from Munich.
The conference was concluded by Prof. Dr. Benedikt Kranemann from Erfurt.
