GERMANY – Bicycle tours “Discovering Churches”

The EKD, Evangelical Church in Germany, has co-developed a map showing several bicycle routes connecting historic churches in Mecklenburg. On the reverse, the 63 churches are described by art historians, and illustrated with pictures. The map also contains information on opening times and, in some cases, where to collect the church keys. The different tours are interconnected, and designed to be accessible by public transportation as well as car.
