CZECH REPUBLIC – Dominants, endangered cultural monuments

Dominanty – Ohrožené kulturní památky

The Endangered Cultural Monuments fund is an initiative of the Pilsner Arcibishopic dominium and its main aim is to save and protect the county churches. According to the website there are 480 surviving churches in the area out of which 30% are in grave need of repair. The initiative helps to raise funds to be used for conservation and restorations of these important monuments, and they have already started works on more than 60% (300) of their churches.

The website includes galleries, map, glossary, funders, yearly reports and a donation appeal to support their cause.
