BELGIUM – Accessibility of Religious heritage in Flanders

Kerknet, the web site of the Flemish Church, recently devoted an article to FRH’s Poll, also detailing the situation in Flanders. Research by the CRKC, the Flemish Centre for Religious Art and Culture, shows that around half of parochial churches in Flanders is accessible outside of service hours. 73% of churches is also used for non-religious activities, usually concerts, exhibitions and lectures by and for the local community.
